| DADDY'S SHOES/ FATHER'S FOOTSTEPS Materials Needed Paper Washable Markers Shoes Instructions Take a piece of paper of any color (lighter colors work better). With a washable marker of any color different from the paper, color the whole raised bottom of daddy's left shoe. Do it quickly so it does not dry. If it dries, blot with a damp cloth and the marker will be wet again. Place the shoe onto the paper with the colored side down, starting at the heel and pressing to the toe. Press all of the bottom down as hard as you can. Place your finger at the corner of the paper near the heel of the shoe and lift the shoe off of the paper from heel to toe. Now take the left child shoe and repeat the same steps of coloring the bottom of the shoe, but with a different marker color. Place it on top of the daddy shoe print. Press heel to toe and lift heel to toe with the child shoe. You can do more than one child's shoe, just start with the biggest shoe and be sure to use different colored markers. Wash the shoes off with soap and water. Finish the art off with a title of "Following In My Daddy's Shoes", "Following In Our Father's Footsteps", "In Daddy's Shoes", or "Stepping into Daddy's Shoes". Note: In the video, I used paint because I thought it was easier for the little kids, but the markers work just fine. (Yellow picture-marker: Two white pictures-paint) |
