| CELEBRATION RIBBON Materials Needed Foam Ribbon Button Pipe Cleaner Craft Glue Scissors Pencil Ribbon Spool Marker Instructions Trace the ribbon spool onto two different colored foam sheets. Cut out the two circles. Take one of these circles and cut 1/4 to 1/2 inch smaller all the way around. With the marker, write on the smaller circle the words you need for the occasion - Birthday Girl/Boy, You're #1, Happy St. Patty's Day, Happy 2nd Birthday, #1 Dad, etc... Center the smaller circle onto the larger circle. Center a button onto the smaller circle. Thread one end of the pipe cleaner through one hole of the button and through both circles until there is 2 inches on the other side. Take the other end of the pipe cleaner and thread it through the other button hole and the circles. Pull this end of the pipe cleaner all the way through until the pipe cleaner is flat onto the button. Cut the pipe cleaner so that there is 2 inches sticking out on the backside. Cut two 4 - 6 inch lengths of ribbon. Have the ribbons create an upside-down "V" shape and glue between the circles. Cut angles into ends of the ribbons. For wear, attach to a button hole, belt loop, safety pin, and etc... using the pipe cleaner ends. |
