| MONSTER HAND Material Needed Felt Pipe Cleaners Craft Glue Foam Scissors Marker/Pencil Opt: Button Instructions Trace your hand onto a 1/2 sheet of felt. Make sure fingers are spread and the wrist is included. Cut the hand out of two felts to create to exact hand patterns. Lay one hand down on a surface that glue will not harm or stick to (Cling wrap worked for me.) Lay down pipe cleaners from 1/4 inch top of each finger to the wrist. You should have 5 pipe cleaners (sizes vary with hand size). Glue these pipe cleaners in place. Once the pipe cleaners are not moving from the glue. Cover the entire hand and pipe cleaners with glue. Lay the other hand on top being sure to line up every finger. Place something heavy on top and allow the glue to get tacky. Then cut out a 2 X 6 inch piece of foam for the sleeve. Completely cover one side of the foam with glue. Slide the foam under the wrist with the glue facing up. Fold the foam over the wrist, lining up the edges. Place something heavy back over it and allow to dry. Opt: Glue a button on the foam where the edges of the foam meet, about 1/2 inch from the edge in the center. |
