LEPRECHAUN POT

Materials Needed
Felt Sheet
Felt Scraps
Scissors
Marker/Pencil
Pipe Cleaners
Craft Glue
Hole Puncher

Instructions
Take a sheet of felt (brown or black works best) and fold in half
lengthwise.  Draw a shape of a pot onto the felt half.  (Helpful
Hint:  Use a lid or bowl as a guide for the circular shape.)  Cut the
pot shape out of both halves of felt.  Line-up the two felt shapes
on top of each other.  Punch a hole at the corner of the pot
through both felt shapes (about 1/2 inch from top).  Punch
another set of holes in the other corner of the pot.  Braid three
12 inch pipe cleaners together.  Insert the pipe cleaner braid
through both sets of holes creating a handle.  Glue the two felts
together around the outside edge of the pot, except at the top
portion between the handle.  Cut a four-leaf clover out of the
green felt and glue onto the front of the pot.  If you need a four-
leaf clover pattern, see the
Four-Leaf Clover  page.

When you have more than a minute:
  • Add gold coins or chocolate gold coins into the pot for St.
    Patrick's Day.
